Life in the Universe

Many people in the world talk about life in the universe. We can see two types of lives in other worlds: our live in a close future(if it is possible), and the called "aliens", beings of other planets who want to conquer our world and all the universe.

First, we are going to talk about the human being and his ability to live in other planets. We, the human being, have a big ability intellectual: we can discover, build, etc, so, in a possible future, we will get out of this planet(or not) to find other possibles planet propitious for the live, with atmosphere, oxygen, water, good position of the Sun, etc. The human being will develop the intelligence, so his head will increase because the brain. However, we will need many machines because our physical constitution will be worst, but we can stop that doing our work with the body and no always using machines.

Second, the alien live is perfectly possible, just imagine a lot of planets in the universe (there are diferent universes, accoding to the most important physiques today), some of these planets are propitious for the live, it is perfectly possible. We can be more advances than they, in that case by now we won´t know if that is true; or they can be more advanced than us, in that case they can be peaceful(strange, because if they search us is because they need our fossil energy or the solar energy, according to Sthephen Hawkins´s theory) or violent, in that case the human being will be doomed.

Finally, the human being and the alien being are predestined to meet, soon or late but is perfectly possible, so it´s better to prepare ourself for the most important meet in the history. Human vs Alien or Human and Alien.

Japan. The disaster of Fukushima's nuclear power station

Civil servants of the Japanese Government give the battle lost. The fight for saving the reactors of Fukushima's head office is almost impossible to win, as he has assured some members of the Executive.

In fact, the own company owner of the head office, Tepco, admitted yesterday that the only solution is to dismantle them and admitted that the operation to catch the nuclear crisis untied after the earthquake of March 11 might last several months. An option that today has confirmed the Japanese prime minister, Naoto Kan.

Meanwhile, the levels of radioactive iodine registered in the last readings in the waters near the head office overcome already 4.385 times the legal limit, according to the measurements of the Agency of Nuclear Security of Japan.

These levels make suspect that the radiation is filtering of constant form to the sea, though the engineers and the rest of the personnel don’t know the existence of routes of filtration.

Finally the Atomic International Energy Agency (AIEA) also has asked the Japanese Government the above mentioned solution to rethink, though, the Japanese organism of nuclear safety has added that this request has not been moved of official form.

Several days ago I watched the CNN channel (an American television channel) on TV with my father and I was very surprised since I was not verifying the meaning of many words. What took me to the conclusion that I had to improve my English. For this reason I would recommend everyone to watch this channel, because not only you learn new words in English, but also you are informed 24 hours a day of what happens in the world.

History of Japan

The most highly developed country in the world is Japan. This country is characteristic because it is represented by the emperor Meiji and his dynasty. Others famous characters are the ninjas and the samurais who are characters very loved by the western. Let´s talk about japonese food, sencond world war, and the most important topic today: the earthquake, the tsunami and the possible fallout.

First, the japanese food it´s a famous food knowned in all the world. We can mention the famous sushi, the ramen, etc. This food is not expensive and many people in the world have it for lunch. I usually go with my friends to "los Remedios" because in the Salado´s street is a japanese named Samurai. It´s wonserful!

Second, in the Second World war, Germany with Hitler in the power said to Japan " join to me". Japan, with the emperor Hiro Hito accepted the proposition of Hitler. Japan wanted to capturate the Pacific and Chine, but the two atomic bombs fallen in Iroshima and Nagasaki finished Hiro Hito´s dream. That was the end of Japan in the Second World War.

Third, with the last disaster of the eathquake and the tsunami, the Fukushima´s reactor can blow up and that can generate a fallout. If that happen, the nipon country will be in a big danger, because the radiation.

Finally, if the fallout success, Japan will be in a big danger, but don´t worry, because the japanese people are very hard-working, and they will save their country.

Alfred Nobel

Alfred Nobel, who was born in 1833 in Stockholm, Sweden, was one of history’s great innovators. His discovery of dynamite in 1866, in an era of rapid industrial expansion, made him one of the world’s wealthiest men. In addition, he was a man of multiple and varied passions who read in six languages, travelled troughout his life and wrote plays and poetry.

When Nobel died, he left money to fun the Nobel Prize.
He wanted to reward those whose discoveries or innovations have the greatest benefit for mankind. The results and effects have been amazing. For example, if it hadn’t been for the invention of lasers we would never have had innovations such as bar codes in supermarkets.

Novel realised that nationality was not an important issue when giving out prize, so he made it international. At first, Europeans dominated the Nobel Prize, but the complete list of winners shows that the prize has been given to people from all over the world and from every continent. In the last quarter of a century, more than ten winners came form nations that did not even exits in Nobel’s time.

Summer Holidays

Aaaah!! Summer holidays. That name is magic. It´s a time (if you have studied) you can do anything, go to the beach, go to others countries, go to the forest with your family, play sports, and an endless etc. In my case, I usually go to the beach, to Rota. For me, is most happy time of the year. I love Rota.
Firstly, because I have there a lot of friends who are so funny. We usually go to the beach in the morning to swim, swim, and more swim. In the evening, sometimes we go to the beach, but we usually go to the town too to buy the equipment to do underwater explore. I won´t change my mind, I love to see the underwater bottom with my friends. Talking about my friends, their names are Manolo, Guillermo, Ignacio, and Antonio (the most funny).
Some days we go to the cinema. The last summer, we saw the "Karate Kid", a very interesting film.

The martial arts

The martial arts are a legendary style of fight born in the ancient China and Japan. These arts were practised by the warriors in the times of feudal lords. They protected the lords from the enemies with complex movements and hits with weapons like swords, sticks (named bo), nunchaku and the most simple and important, the fists.
About the warriors, today are not warriors, they are people who wanst to learn how can they protect himself from thiefs, criminals, assassins, etc, but others are actors who perform in interesting and amazing films.
Firstly, some years ago, a famous chinese man born in China who studyed philosophy in america, revolutioned the world of the martial arts, his name was Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee was a famous actor of 80s. His most famous film was Enter the Dragon, but when the movie opened, he die, because he released the secret of the martial arts, so someone killed him, say the rumors.
His style was the jeet kun do, and sitlls "alive".
Secondly, later, other master of martial arts, is Jackie Chun, and yes, he is alive. He has done a lot of films, like "The Forbidden Kingdom".
He learnt martial arts in the theatre of his school because his teacher wanted it for the play.
The training of the martial arts is so hard, so it was very difficult to him to learn those movements.
Finally, I want to say that these arts are only for defense, not for attack, becase they are like a weapon. Well, that´s all about martial arts and...be water my friend.

The Big Evertest

At 8,848 metres, it is the biggest Challenger a climber can ever face. It has taken the lives of 175 people. It is “the big E”. This is a brief history of a mountain and human obsession with trying to climb it.

George Everest worked for the British Government in India from 1830 to 1843. He was the first surveyor of India, so in 1865 his successor suggested using his name for the mountain peak and this is how we got the name Mount Everest.

In 1992 English climber George Mallory managed to climb to 8,000 metres. Two years later, Andrew Irvine and Mallory disappeared while they were walking near the top on 8 June. Seventy-five years later climbers found Mallory’s body when they were going up Everest.
His goggles and penknife were with his body. They never found his camera and without it nobody knows if he definitely reached the summit.

I leave you here some images in order that you see them calmly.
