The martial arts

The martial arts are a legendary style of fight born in the ancient China and Japan. These arts were practised by the warriors in the times of feudal lords. They protected the lords from the enemies with complex movements and hits with weapons like swords, sticks (named bo), nunchaku and the most simple and important, the fists.
About the warriors, today are not warriors, they are people who wanst to learn how can they protect himself from thiefs, criminals, assassins, etc, but others are actors who perform in interesting and amazing films.
Firstly, some years ago, a famous chinese man born in China who studyed philosophy in america, revolutioned the world of the martial arts, his name was Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee was a famous actor of 80s. His most famous film was Enter the Dragon, but when the movie opened, he die, because he released the secret of the martial arts, so someone killed him, say the rumors.
His style was the jeet kun do, and sitlls "alive".
Secondly, later, other master of martial arts, is Jackie Chun, and yes, he is alive. He has done a lot of films, like "The Forbidden Kingdom".
He learnt martial arts in the theatre of his school because his teacher wanted it for the play.
The training of the martial arts is so hard, so it was very difficult to him to learn those movements.
Finally, I want to say that these arts are only for defense, not for attack, becase they are like a weapon. Well, that´s all about martial arts and...be water my friend.

The Big Evertest

At 8,848 metres, it is the biggest Challenger a climber can ever face. It has taken the lives of 175 people. It is “the big E”. This is a brief history of a mountain and human obsession with trying to climb it.

George Everest worked for the British Government in India from 1830 to 1843. He was the first surveyor of India, so in 1865 his successor suggested using his name for the mountain peak and this is how we got the name Mount Everest.

In 1992 English climber George Mallory managed to climb to 8,000 metres. Two years later, Andrew Irvine and Mallory disappeared while they were walking near the top on 8 June. Seventy-five years later climbers found Mallory’s body when they were going up Everest.
His goggles and penknife were with his body. They never found his camera and without it nobody knows if he definitely reached the summit.

I leave you here some images in order that you see them calmly.
